QBS triathlon team is open to all women, whether you are a mom, daughter, sister, grandmother, beginner, intermediate or advanced female athlete!
Be sure to read the following details to learn about our training team! A triathlon is a three-sport event involving swimming, biking and running. If you have never done a triathlon it may be something that may feel intimidating or impossible. You are not alone and that is exactly why QBS was created. QBS provides a support group that adheres to a range of fears, anxieties and multiple abilities. The feeling of accomplishing a triathlon, whether it is your first triathlon or 100th triathlon, is an unforgettable feeling of empowerment.
QBS allows women who have different abilities and different goals to come together and provide support for one another. Some women may want to complete their first triathlon, others may go for a best time and some women may just want to meet new people. QBS provides a structured training plan for different individual goals while at the same time providing camaraderie and team support in a fun and health-oriented environment.
Schedule:
Training Months: April- August
First group workout Sunday April 5th at Swamis Beach, Group Bike Ride Up the Coast HWY
Group Workouts:
Thursdays 6pm-7pm San Dieguito Academy High School track and Sunday mornings 8:15am-10:15am (various locations TBA)

Registration Includes:
- Expert Certified Coaching
- Pool workouts at the Encinitas YMCA, focused on technique and endurance building
- Ocean swim workouts at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas and Fletcher Cove, Solana Beach and La Jolla Cove
- Solana Beach and La Jolla Cove
- Practices on the weekend will include the swim along with a bike or run with a focus on distance, intervals, or technique
- Mid week track workouts Thursdays 6pm at SDA
- Clinics in swimming, running and cycling

Registration Details:
Members-- $500.00* before or on April 5th. $550.00 after April 12th.
